WELCOME TO SEASON 2010.
The organisations listed above were announced as our major sponsors for 2010, a number of sponsorship packages available should your business wish to join us for 2010. Packages are available for any interested party and the Eagles will ensure a return for all sponsors. Please support all our sponsors by visiting the Sponsors page on this site. You will find links to many of their web sites. Edgeworth Eagles value the contribution of all our sponsors and welcome any new sponsorship inquiries. Sponsorships in all categories are available for the upcoming 2010 season. 2010 sees the format of the State League remain the same with an Under 23 competition and the youth grade Under 18's competition, complementing the First Grade side. Please consider the value sponsoring the most successful club in recent years will have on your Business. You would be forgiven for not recognising Jack McLaughlan Oval after the tireless work in the off season. The new Grandstand completed last season and spectator comfort further enhanced in coming months with a firther grandstand installed. Preparation of the hill area is well underway and the renovation of the sponsor box complete. It will be a fantastic year for the Eagles and any feedback or news is welcome at edgyeagles@optusnet.com.au
Apologies for the length of time between updates, but it has been a hectic few months. The under 18's appear to have turned the corner and benefited from the input of First Grade Coach Gary Wilson while Ken Bevan relaxed in Asia. The Under 18's have won there last handful of games to entrench themselves in the Top 4. Phil Koinas men have also struck a purple patch of form and take their rightful place at the top of the under 23's table. And while it is fair to say that the first grade side haven't been at their absolute best, they have continued to score goals and find themselves seated third on the table behind Weston and Hamilton, with a must win catch up game against Olympic this weekend.
With the season well underway, the Eagles have had a number of reasonably well supported functions culminating in the Red Faces night on the long week end.
Trivia night is set down for the Friday 12 August at the Bowling Club
Anyone interested in the planning or running of any of these nights is welcome to contribute as listed below
